Joe Ekins is credited by some historians with shooting down Michael Wittmann's tiger. Parts of the “51st Highlands Infantry Division”, the “1st Northamptonshire Yeomanry” met German tank units near the French town of. St. Aigan de Cramesnil. Here Ekins took out 3 Tiger I tanks. Wittmann's Tiger was one of them. Ekins is very striking due to his distinctive eyebrows and blue eyes.
This figure is limited to a total of 55 pieces. 40 can be purchased individually. The remaining 15 pieces are included in the Ekins-Firefly-Bundle.
