The T-34/76 Modell 1942 was an advanced variant of the tried-and-tested Soviet T-34 and was one of the Red Army's most important weapons in World War II. Simplified production, reinforced armor plates, and a newly designed hexagonal turret (“crank shaft turret” or “Mickey Mouse turret” in later versions) made it possible to manufacture the tank in large numbers. The 1942 T-34/76 was equipped with a 76.2 mm F-34 cannon, which was effective against both enemy tanks and field positions. Its reliable V-2-34 diesel engine enabled a top speed of around 50 km/h. On the battlefields of the Eastern Front, the T-34 was considered robust, mobile, and particularly superior in winter, as wide tracks and a simple design facilitated its use in extreme conditions. Despite limited visibility and cramped conditions in the turret, the T-34/76 Model 1942 proved to be the backbone of the Soviet tank forces and played a decisive role in the defensive and counteroffensives from 1942 onwards.

The level of detail can be adjusted by choosing the “Premium” or “Standard” version. One with printed parts -> Premium and one without -> Standard.
